Women's Ecomonic Emanicpation Project Developing and Enhancing Skills of Rural Women |
Women comprise a large part of the population in the villages. Many men died in the war. Women have important responsibilities at home, such as education and health care for the children. Economically empowering rural mothers is important for the well-being of the children, for peace in the family and stability of marriage.
